Group letter urging U.S. House of Representatives to support HR 4682 Help Americans Never Get Unwanted Phone call (HANGUP Act), March 11, 2016

Consumer groups strongly support the Duckworth-Eshoo HANGUP (HelpAmericans Never Get Unwanted Phone Calls) Act – to repeal the recent enactment of Section 301 in the 2015 Budget Bill. Section 301 will allow collectors of debt owed to or guaranteed by the United States to make robodialed and prerecorded calls and texts to cell phones without consent. Read more >>>
